$58,221-$70,835 Plus Benefits and City Paid PERS (Ability to earn 8% incentive pay)
The City of Molalla is seeking a full-time, represented, Water Plant Operator II who works under the direction of the Water Treatment Manager, serving as Direct Responsible Charge, this position performs operation and maintenance of the City of Molalla’s Water Treatment Plant and associated portions of the water collection and distribution systems. This position is not authorized to initiate or implement disciplinary action, approve overtime, time off, nor any other right of management.
High school diploma or equivalent, plus additional training in areas of water treatment, chemistry, biology, algebra, and electrical work equivalent to a two-year technical degree.
Minimum Grade 2 Certification in Water Treatment as required by the State of Oregon or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Thorough knowledge of water technology and operations of water treatment facilities and OSHA safety regulation.
Valid Oregon driver’s license.
