What We Do

The Community Development Department plays a key role in shaping the City’s future through planning, building, engineering, and economic development. Our Engineering Division delivers the infrastructure that makes Wilsonville work— managing projects to design, build, and maintain the roads, utilities, parks, pathways, and public spaces that support a high quality of life for residents and a strong environment for businesses.
What You Will Do
As the Capital Projects Engineering Manager, you will lead high-impact projects from vision to reality while guiding a talented and dedicated team. You’ll oversee the planning, design, and construction of capital improvements that leave a lasting mark on the community. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and strategic. You’ll partner with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and the public to deliver projects that improve mobility, sustainability, and livability across the city.

Transportation and multimodal improvements that keep Wilsonville moving
Utility and infrastructure upgrades that support long-term growth

Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Oregon Professional Engineer registration (or ability to obtain within six months)
Six years of engineering experience, including at least three years in public works or capital project management
Excellent leadership, collaboration, and project delivery skills
