Mission
The Technology Committee is a group of IT, GIS, and other technical professionals who keep tabs on current and future software and hardware technologies relevant to Public Works and Engineering. We work to share this technical knowledge with the wider chapter membership, aiming to help our members stay informed about new and exciting advancements in technology.
About the Committee
The Technology Committee convenes on a quarterly basis to discuss new technologies, engage with vendors, and exchange information about relevant hardware and software. The committee plays a pivotal role in the Chapter’s Spring and Fall Conferences, actively participating in selecting presenters and moderating the New Technology Product Showcase session. Members frequently contribute presentations to share project experiences and updates in the rapidly evolving field of Technology, emphasizing its connection to Public Works and Engineering.
In collaboration with the Communications Committee, the Technology Committee is at the forefront of updating and managing the Chapter’s website.
