Mission
The Leadership and Management Committee is dedicated to promoting professional excellence by providing motivation to the membership and by developing and fostering qualities of effective leadership and management within the public works community.
As a component of the Leadership and Management Committee, the Diversity Committee is dedicated to promoting respect for diverse viewpoints, cultures, and life experiences by providing activities and programs that further cultural awareness and fosters an understanding of individual and group diversity within the public works community.
About the Mentorship ProgramA mentorship program is vital to the continued growth of the Public Works profession as it facilitates the transfer of knowledge and experience from seasoned professionals to emerging talents. Through mentorship, younger professionals gain access to valuable insights, practical skills, and industry networks that are essential for their professional development. Please read the Mentorship Handbook linked below to better understand the Program’s goals and the role of a mentor or mentee. Then use the Application link to apply to be both a mentor and mentee. |
