Description: Are you an experienced water professional ready to lead a high‑performing team and steward one of the City’s most critical public infrastructure systems? The City of Keizer is seeking a knowledgeable, collaborative, and forward‑thinking Water Division Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and long‑term planning of our municipal water production and distribution systems.

This position offers the opportunity to lead essential water programs, guide strategic initiatives, and support a dedicated team that keeps Keizer’s water safe, reliable, and sustainable.
Qualifications/Requirements: Reporting to the Public Works Director, the Water Division Manager ensures the integrity, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of the City’s water source, treatment, and distribution systems. This position serves as the Direct Responsible Charge (DRC) for Keizer’s municipal water system and is responsible for major division programs including:

 Water System Master Plan, Water Management Plan, Emergency Operations Plan (Water), and Wellhead Protection Plan
 Water production, treatment, storage, and distribution operations
 Water quality, sampling, and EPA/OHA compliance
 Asset management, system maintenance, and telemetry programs
 Customer service response related to water quality inquiries and complaints
 Regulatory reporting and groundwater permit compliance
 Public outreach, annual Consumer Confidence Report development, and representation on regional water‑related committees

This position also leads financial planning for the Water Fund, oversees capital project coordination, and directs staff engaged in water system operations and maintenance.
