Salary Information: $46.51 – $62.80- per hour
Description: Clark County Public Works is seeking a skilled, collaborative, and community‑minded Capital Project Manager III to lead impactful transportation and infrastructure projects that shape the region’s future. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned civil engineering professional who enjoys guiding multidisciplinary teams and delivering high‑quality public works projects.
In this role, you will:
• Lead capital improvement projects from concept through construction
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, surveyors, environmental specialists, and contractors
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and right‑of‑way coordination
• Engage with partner agencies, utilities, and local communities
• Help deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable public infrastructure

• Strong background in civil engineering and transportation or infrastructure project delivery
• Proven leadership and the ability to coordinate diverse technical teams
• A relationship‑builder who thrives in a collaborative, public‑service‑driven environment
• Skilled in contract management, problem‑solving, and bringing complex projects to the finish line
Qualifications/Requirements: Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, project management, or related field
• 5+ years of progressively responsible project management experience (or 7 years equivalent)
• PMP certification (required)
• PE license preferred (or ability to obtain within 2 years)
• Residency in Washington or Oregon
