Position Overview:
As a Civil Engineer at the City of Wilsonville, you’ll help shape our city’s infrastructure while working on projects that directly impact the quality of life for residents. You will be involved in the design, analysis, and improvement of stormwater systems and protection of natural resources, water distribution and sewer collection systems, water and wastewater treatment, and transportation infrastructure. This position is perfect for engineers who are eager to grow or exercise their skills in a variety of disciplines while also making a tangible difference in their community.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholder, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Stormwater: Design, evaluate, and manage stormwater systems focusing on low impact development and protection of natural resources and wildlife.
Water and Sewer Systems: Plan, design, and maintain water distribution and sewer collection systems, focusing on sustainability and efficiency.
Transportation: Assist in the planning and design of complete streets, including transit, pedestrian, and bicycle networks with an emphasis on “all ages and ability” design principlesthat enhance safety and mobility within the city.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental guidelines and sustainability goals.
Community Focus: Work closely with other city departments and local residents and businesses to address infrastructure needs and improve community engagement.
Project Delivery: Focus on leading predesign, design, bidding, and construction management to complete projects from start to finish. |
