Description: Civil Project Manager (7-10 yrs experience)

The Portland Civil office currently consists of 110 employees including staff in our two satellite offices in
Eugene and Washington DC. We work on a wide variety of project types, serving public and private
clients in land development, transportation, and municipal projects. This includes architectural-led building projects for higher ed campuses, sports facilities, schools, medical campuses, and mixed-use
housing. In addition, we work on parks, trails, master planning, and include stormwater management
and a sustainability focus on everything we do. We believe in encouraging personal and professional

Compensation
The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience,
education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate for this Civil Engineer position is
$95,000-$115,000. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward
outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center. At KPFF, you get paid for every hour you work —
Flex time is earned for any overtime based on total work hours per month. This is an ‘exempt’ position,
so Flex time is calculated as straight time and can be included in payroll or banked and used as paid time
off. The maximum Flex hour accrual is 120 hours. KPFF is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications
• Registered PE with a minimum of 7 years of experience
• Civil background including land development, utilities, stormwater/drainage design, parks, ports and
public improvements
• Project management experience (business development experience is a plus)
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
• Superior written and verbal communication abilities, with experience in direct client interactions
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities
• Passionate about providing exceptional client service
• Work Authorization/Sponsorship – At this time, KPFF is unable to provide visa sponsorship or
transfer for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the
need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, attending
meetings, or conducting site visits.
• Occasional visits to project and construction sites may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or
navigating uneven terrain.
• Occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds of equipment or materials.
