The City of Blythe, CA is seeking a Public Works Director for this friendly agricultural community of 15,000 tucked alongside the Colorado River in southwest California. THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
Reporting to the City Manager, the Public Works Director oversees a budget of $16.3 million and a team of 22.5 FTEs. The Public Works Director plans, organizes, directs the City’s Public Works activities: street maintenance, engineering design, public works construction and inspection, the repair and maintenance of City infrastructure, park maintenance, fleet maintenance, the production and distribution of potable water, and the treatment and disposal of wastewater.
