Description: The City of Richland is seeking a Transportation Manager for this thriving city of 64,706 in southeastern Washington located at the confluence of the Columbia and Yakima Rivers. The City serves a population of 64,706 across 40 square miles with a budget of $358 million and a team of 591 FTEs.

THE TRANSPORTATION MANAGER

Reporting to the Public Works Director, the Transportation Manager plays an integral role in the City and Public Works Department in coordination with development and ensuring consistency with long-range plans, policies, and regulations. Beyond Public Works, the position works closely with public safety, risk management, and development services on specific projects and initiatives. Direct reports include the Streets Maintenance Supervisor, Traffic Engineer, City Surveyor, and two Engineering Technicians II.
