The APWA Oregon Chapter is proud to announce that Doug Singer, 2025 Chapter President, has been named the recipient of the 2025 William A. Bowes Award.
The Bowes Award is the Chapter’s highest honor. Established in 1978, the Award recognizes a public works leader whose career has had a far-reaching, positive impact on programs, services, and communities. Doug’s two decades of service to APWA, leadership in water resources and sustainability, and dedication to mentoring the next generation exemplify the spirit and legacy of William A. Bowes.
From managing multiple award-winning programs to serving on the Chapter Executive Board and representing Oregon nationally and internationally, Doug’s contributions have strengthened both the profession and the communities he serves.
