Salary Information:	$152,147.65 – $194,183.24 annually, plus: Auto allowance Cellphone Allowance A potential 2.5% COLA effective July 1, 2025
Description:	Lead. Innovate. Build the Future. The City of Medford is hiring a visionary Public Works Director to oversee major infrastructure and capital projects, drive innovation in transportation and water reclamation, and lead a dedicated team committed to excellence in public service. As part of the City’s executive leadership, you’ll shape strategy, foster collaboration, and help build a more connected and sustainable community.
Qualifications/Requirements:	Required Education and Experience: Ten (10) years of progressive experience in public works in a government setting, including experience in overseeing the development of capital improvement projects with four (4) of those years in a supervisory or leadership position. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, business or public administration, or other specific area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for two (2) years of experience; or Master’s degree in civil engineering, business or public administration, or other specific area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for four (4) years of experience.
