The call for presentations for the Oregon APWA Spring Conference is open! Please consider submitting a proposal for the Spring Conference planned for May 18 – 21, 2026, in Seaside.

The deadline to submit abstracts for technical session presentations is February 6, 2026, by the end of the day.

To provide a diverse conference program, we are targeting approximately two (2) to four (4) sessions from each of the following categories:

  • Emergency Management
  • Leadership and Management (including communications and public engagement)
  • Public Works Technology
  • Sustainability
  • Transportation
  • Water Resources
  • Water / Wastewater
  • Operations & Maintenance

As in previous years, we collect our submissions via a Google form. Please submit your speaker and topic information at: https://forms.gle/h32M63bDvnWJd1pSA You may also access the submittal process through the Oregon APWA events page via https://oregon.apwa.org/

The form requests session title, session description, and basic speaker details such as name, title, agency and email. These details allow the planning committee to select a diversity of sessions as well as avoid conflicts in scheduling selected sessions.

Once the February 6 deadline has passed, the submissions will be reviewed by the Chapter committees, and you will be notified of the acceptance of your abstract about a month later.

Don’t be shy in providing more than one presentation, it is great to have a variety of topics to consider.
